Art This Way’s Takaoka, Japan Inspired Mural in Fort Wayne

This mural is titled, “ Lion’s Dance” and is inspired by the kabuki play, Kagamijishi. The art is located at 128 West Wayne Street in Fort Wayne.

In 2020, Art This Way within the Fort Wayne Downtown Improvement District worked to recruit internationally recognized Tokyo-born muralist, Juuri to bring her vibrant, figure-driven work to Fort Wayne. Juuri was commissioned to incorporate our Sister City, Takaoka, Japan into her design.
