Japan Earthquake Relief Fund

On January 1, 2024, Japan’s Noto Peninsula was struck by a magnitude 7.5 earthquake, the strongest earthquake in Japan since the Tohoku earthquake in March of 2011. Over 1,000 people were injured across 6 prefectures, and over 200 people died in Ishikawa prefecture. Fort Wayne’s sister city, Takaoka, is within the affected region, and Fort Wayne is home to people with direct ties of family and friendship to the survivors. The shifting of the ground caused damage that will take years to repair, and many people are still struggling to recover from the disaster.

Join us on June 23rd for a Charity Concert where we will be collecting donations to aid our Sister City of Takaoka, Japan with recovery efforts in Takaoka and the neighboring Noto region.
